When I read a great book, the images in my imagination captivate me. Often times, because I love to write lyrics and music, the book can inspire me to write a song. Forgiveness is actually the 2nd song I have written based on the same book series, this particular song is inspired by “Crooked Kingdom” by Leigh Bardugo. This LIVE performance at the Acoustic Den was about a week after I had written this song, so this was the first time I had played it for an audience. It was so much fun to see their reaction, they were such an awesome audience! I look forward to making a studio version soon! I also look forward to performing it at an upcoming student concert for Milestones Music & Learn Piano Live!
